About this active substance
This hemoderivative contains biologically active compounds such as amino acids, oligopeptides, and nucleotides, which support cellular regeneration and wound healing. It is used to treat skin ulcers, burns, ischemic injuries, diabetic neuropathies, and other conditions involving insufficient tissue oxygenation.
The medication is available in injectable solutions, tablets, or topical gels/creams. Injectable administration is used in severe cases, such as ischemic strokes or peripheral circulatory insufficiency. Gels and creams are applied for wound and burn treatment.
Side effects are rare but may include allergic reactions such as skin rashes, itching, or fever. In very rare cases, anaphylactic reactions may occur. It is important for patients to inform their doctor of any adverse reactions and to strictly follow medical instructions.
Deproteinized calf blood hemoderivative is contraindicated in patients with allergies to its components, as well as those with severe heart failure, pulmonary edema, or fluid retention. Treatment should be conducted under medical supervision, and long-term use should be carefully evaluated.
