Deproteinized calf blood hemoderivative is a biological extract used in the treatment of various conditions involving circulation and tissue regeneration disorders. It is commercially known as Actovegin and is used to stimulate cellular metabolism by improving oxygen and glucose uptake in affected tissues.

This hemoderivative contains biologically active compounds such as amino acids, oligopeptides, and nucleotides, which support cellular regeneration and wound healing. It is used to treat skin ulcers, burns, ischemic injuries, diabetic neuropathies, and other conditions involving insufficient tissue oxygenation.
