Zofenopril is a medication from the class of angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors, used to treat high blood pressure and heart failure. It helps lower blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels, thereby reducing the workload on the heart and improving blood circulation.

Zofenopril is also used to protect the heart after an acute myocardial infarction, especially in patients with left ventricular dysfunction.
