The medication is available as nasal drops or spray and provides rapid symptom relief. However, long-term use may lead to adverse effects such as rebound congestion (rhinitis medicamentosa).
Side effects may include dryness of the nasal mucosa, burning sensation, or local irritation. It is important not to exceed the recommended duration of use, typically 3-5 days.
