Vitamins + amino acids + minerals are nutritional combinations used when diet may not cover needs or during periods of increased demand, such as recovery, physical effort, restrictive diets or reduced food intake. Vitamins support metabolism, amino acids contribute to protein synthesis, and minerals are important for muscles, bones, blood and nerves.
They are taken by mouth according to the leaflet or medical advice. The product should be chosen according to age, body weight, diet, blood tests, medical conditions and other treatments. It should not be used as a meal replacement or as a quick fix for persistent tiredness without investigation. In athletes, dosing should be aligned with diet and hydration.
Side effects may include nausea, bloating, constipation, diarrhoea, metallic taste or stomach discomfort. Some minerals, such as iron, zinc, calcium or magnesium, can reduce absorption of certain antibiotics, levothyroxine or other medicines. High doses may cause mineral imbalance, digestive symptoms or accumulation, especially in kidney disease.
Ask a doctor before use if you have kidney disease, liver disease, gout, metabolic disorders, pregnancy, breastfeeding or long-term medicines. Stop taking the product and seek advice if severe rash, persistent vomiting, abdominal pain, unusual weakness or palpitations occur. This supplement can support the diet, but it does not treat the underlying causes of deficiency by itself.
