The combination of hydrocortisone, lidocaine, and zinc oxide is used to treat inflammatory skin conditions accompanied by pain or itching, such as hemorrhoids or irritant dermatitis. Hydrocortisone reduces inflammation, lidocaine provides a local anesthetic effect, and zinc oxide protects the skin and promotes healing.
The medication is applied topically, as directed by a doctor, usually 1-2 times daily.
Side effects may include local irritation, burning sensation, or, in rare cases, allergic reactions.
Patients should follow the treatment duration indicated by their doctor and avoid long-term use without medical supervision. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a specialist before use.
