Take this medicine on an empty stomach.
Do not take with milk, calcium, iron, magnesium, or antacids if separation is recommended.
The combination of iron (III) hydroxide polymaltose and folic acid is used for the treatment and prevention of iron deficiency anemia, particularly during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Iron contributes to hemoglobin formation, while folic acid is essential for DNA synthesis and cell division.
The medication is taken orally, usually once daily, as directed by a doctor. It is important to follow the recommended dose to avoid overdose.
