Equine rabies immunoglobulin is a product derived from horse serum used to prevent rabies in individuals exposed to the rabies virus, usually through bites from infected animals. It provides passive immunity by supplying pre-formed antibodies against the rabies virus.

The medication is administered via intramuscular injection, as directed by a doctor, and is used in combination with the rabies vaccine.
