Betamethasone + Tetryzoline is a combination medication primarily used to treat inflammatory and allergic eye conditions. Betamethasone is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, redness, and swelling, while Tetryzoline is a decongestant that alleviates eye redness by constricting blood vessels.

This combination is indicated for allergic conjunctivitis, eye irritation caused by dust, smoke, or other irritants, as well as other minor inflammatory eye conditions.

The medication is available as eye drops and should be used as directed by a doctor. Treatment is usually short-term to avoid side effects associated with prolonged corticosteroid use.

Side effects may include a temporary burning or stinging sensation in the eyes, dry eyes, or, rarely, increased intraocular pressure. It is contraindicated in untreated viral, bacterial, or fungal eye infections and in patients with glaucoma.
