The combination of metamizole sodium + caffeine + drotaverine is used to relieve moderate to severe pain, especially pain associated with smooth muscle spasms, such as biliary colic, renal colic, or menstrual pain. This combination provides rapid and effective pain relief by combining analgesic, antispasmodic, and stimulant effects.

- Metamizole sodium is an analgesic and antipyretic that reduces pain and fever by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis.
