The combination of heparin and dexpanthenol is used for the treatment of local inflammation, bruises, and minor skin injuries. Heparin acts as an anticoagulant, improving local circulation, while dexpanthenol promotes skin healing.
The medication is applied topically, as a gel or cream, as directed by a doctor. It is important not to apply it to open wounds or infected skin.
Side effects may include local irritation, redness, or allergic reactions. In rare cases, severe hypersensitivity reactions may occur.
This combination is not recommended for patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components or severe coagulation disorders.
