Levosulpiride is a medication used for the treatment of functional gastrointestinal disorders, such as dyspepsia, and mild psychiatric disorders, such as depression. It works by blocking dopamine receptors, providing prokinetic and antidepressant effects.

The medication is taken orally, usually two to three times a day, as directed by a doctor. The dose is adjusted based on the condition being treated and the patient's response.

Side effects may include drowsiness, dizziness, weight gain, or menstrual disturbances. In rare cases, extrapyramidal reactions or neuroleptic malignant syndrome may occur.

Levosulpiride is not recommended for patients with epilepsy, prolactin-dependent tumors, or hypersensitivity to this medication.
