Hexoprenaline is a beta-2 adrenergic agonist used to relax the smooth muscles of the uterus in cases of preterm labor. It may also be used for the treatment of bronchospasm in respiratory conditions.

The medication is administered orally, intravenously, or as an aerosol, as directed by a doctor. It is important to monitor the patient for adverse effects.

Side effects may include tremors, palpitations, headache, or nausea. In rare cases, severe allergic reactions or tachycardia may occur.

Hexoprenaline is not recommended for patients with hypersensitivity to this medication or severe cardiac conditions.
