Fludeoxyglucose (18F) is a radioactive compound used in medical imaging, especially in positron emission tomography (PET). It is a modified form of glucose labeled with fluorine-18, which allows visualization of the metabolic activity of various organs and tissues, being essential in diagnosing cancer, neurological diseases, or cardiac conditions.
