Flurbiprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain and reduce inflammation in conditions such as arthritis, muscle pain, toothache, or menstrual pain. It works by blocking substances in the body that cause inflammation and pain.

Flurbiprofen is taken orally as tablets or, in some cases, as a throat spray or lozenges, as directed by your doctor. The dose and duration of treatment depend on the type and severity of the condition being treated.

Side effects may include digestive disturbances (nausea, stomach pain, heartburn), dizziness, or allergic reactions. Rarely, serious complications such as gastric ulcers, digestive bleeding, or kidney damage may occur. If you experience severe abdominal pain or blood in your stool, contact your doctor immediately.

Flurbiprofen is effective in reducing pain and inflammation, but should be used with caution, especially in people with digestive or kidney problems, and only as recommended by your doctor.
