The medication is applied topically, in the form of a solution or gel, as directed by a doctor. It is important to avoid contact with the eyes and not to use it on extensive open wounds.
Side effects may include local irritation, a burning sensation, or allergic reactions. In rare cases, systemic reactions to lidocaine, such as dizziness or seizures, may occur.
This combination is not recommended for patients with hypersensitivity to lidocaine, chlorhexidine, or other components of the product.
