Acetylsalicylic acid + bisoprolol is a combination of medications used for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, particularly in patients at high risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, or other cardiovascular complications.
- Acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) is an antiplatelet agent that prevents blood clot formation, reducing the risk of thrombotic events. It is commonly used for secondary prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
- Bisoprolol is a beta-blocker that lowers heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen demand of the heart, protecting the heart and reducing the risk of heart failure or other complications.
This combination is particularly indicated for patients with hypertension, angina pectoris, heart failure, or a history of cardiovascular events.
