It also plays a key role in maintaining libido, energy levels, and reproductive function.

Testosterone is used as a medication to treat hypogonadism (low testosterone levels) in men, which can cause symptoms such as fatigue, reduced muscle mass, erectile dysfunction, and loss of bone density. It is available in the form of injections, gels, patches, or tablets.
