Metamizole sodium, drotaverine, and caffeine are used together in a combination medication to relieve moderate to severe pain, particularly pain associated with smooth muscle spasms. This combination provides analgesic, antispasmodic, and stimulant effects, and is indicated for conditions such as renal, biliary, or intestinal colic, menstrual pain, and other types of spastic pain.
