Perindopril and indapamide are used together in a combination medication for the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension). This combination combines the effects of an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor and a thiazide-like diuretic, providing more effective blood pressure control.

- Perindopril is an ACE inhibitor that works by relaxing blood vessels, reducing vascular resistance, and lowering blood pressure. It also protects the heart and kidneys, helping to prevent cardiovascular complications.
- Indapamide is a thiazide-like diuretic that helps remove excess water and salt from the body through urine, reducing blood volume and lowering blood pressure.

This combination is taken orally, usually once daily, preferably in the morning. It is particularly indicated for patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with a single medication.

Side effects may include dizziness, headache, fatigue, dry cough (due to perindopril), hypokalemia (low potassium levels), muscle cramps, or allergic reactions.
