This combination of medications is used to relieve cold and flu symptoms such as fever, nasal congestion, dry cough, and allergic symptoms. Paracetamol reduces fever and pain, pseudoephedrine decongests nasal passages, dextromethorphan suppresses cough, and chlorpheniramine alleviates allergic symptoms.

It is taken orally as directed by a doctor, usually in the form of tablets or syrup. It is important not to exceed the recommended dose to avoid adverse effects.

Common side effects include drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, nausea, or insomnia. Rarely, severe allergic reactions or high blood pressure may occur.

This combination is contraindicated in patients with severe hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, glaucoma, or liver failure. It is also not recommended for young children without medical advice.
